EcoFit had an independent test laboratory, the Advanced Manufacturing Institute, test the performance of our product under a variety of ambient conditions. Download the AMI report, which shows that the DuraStreet Series LED Light Engine maintains TJ —the most critical measure of LED performance and long life—at or below the recommendations published by our LED suppliers, Cree.

As shown in the chart below, the low TJ temperatures documented in the Advanced Manufacturing Institute report translate to project L70 LED lifetimes of well above 100,000 hours in most applications.

The resulting product lifetime for EcoFit’s LED replacement modules are provided below:

For example, when DuraStreet LEDs are driven at 350mA in an outside temperature of 25°C (or about 77°F), the ambient temperature inside the luminaire housing is 38.4°C (or about 101°F), but TJ is only 63.5 °C. Further, even when DuraStreet LEDs are driven at 525mA, fully rated LED life is still maintained, even in the hottest outside environments.
